SUMMARY
Peter has been a professional actor for 20 years (14 years in theatre, then moving into film over the last 6 years). Peter has also worked as a theatre playwright over a 10 year period, then moving into screenwriting over the last 6 years. Peter has also worked as a film producer over the last 6 years. Currently, Peter is building a slate of feature film projects, under his company Eleutheria Films.

BIOGRAPHY
Peter was born, raised and educated in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Peter is of Celtic origin...Cornish on his mother's side, Irish London on his father's side. Upon leaving school, Peter moved to Bristol and threw himself into the powerful art scene that Bristol was producing at the time. In his late teens, Peter spent three years at the 'Bristol Old Vic Theatre', acting professionally for the 'Bristol Old Vic Company'. Peter then moved to London, continuing his development as an actor at the 'Royal Central School of Speech and Drama' achieving a BA (Hons) in Acting. Since leaving Central, as an actor, the majority of Peter's work has been in British theatre.

Over recent years, Peter has moved more into film work. As an actor, screenwriter and producer combined, Peter's feature film The Fighter's Ballad (2011), has gone onto receive multiple awards (including: Best Actor Peter Cadwell...Best Screenplay Peter Cadwell...and Best Feature Film) as well as great reviews in both the UK and US. Peter is currently working on his next feature film 'The Stolen Sun'.

As part of Danny Boyle's new East London Film Festival 'Shuffle'... Danny Boyle picked 'The Fighter's Ballad' to screen alongside 'One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest'. As both Cuckoo's Nest and The Fighter's Ballad, express Mental Health in society, Peter felt honoured to be up there with Cuckoo's Nest.
